本大会は、日本微生物生態学会第39回高知大会とThe 16th Asian Symposium for Microbial Ecologyの合同開催となります。そのため、参加者間の円滑な情報共有と国際的な交流を促進するため、以下につきましてご協力をお願いいたします。
・一般口頭発表：可能な限り英語でのご発表を歓迎いたします。また、日本語でご発表される場合でも、スライドは英語で作成していただけますと幸いです。
・ポスター発表：ポスターおよび演題・要旨につきましては、可能な限り英語で作成していただきますようお願いいたします。

As this conference will be jointly held as the 39th Annual Conference of the Japanese Society of Microbial Ecology and The 16th Asian Symposium for Microbial Ecology, we kindly ask for your cooperation in facilitating communication and promoting international exchange by following the recommendations below.
・Oral Presentation：We strongly encourage presenters to give their presentations in English whenever possible. If you choose to present in Japanese, we would greatly appreciate it if your presentation slides could be prepared in English.
・Poster Presentation ：We kindly ask that both the poster and the title/abstract be prepared in English whenever possible.
※Please note that although you may select your preferred presentation format during registration, your request may not be accommodated due to program scheduling constraints.
・若手研究者英語セッション（英語のみ）について/Young Scientist Session（Oral Presentation in English）
本セッションは、国際会議の場で研究成果を発表し、多様なバックグラウンドをもつ研究者との英語でのディスカッションの経験をしたいと思う、学生さん、ポスドク研究者、および若手研究者を対象としています。本セッションを通じて、日本、韓国、台湾をはじめとする各国・地域の若手研究者間の学術交流を促進するとともに、微生物生態学分野を担う次世代研究者のさらなる活躍を後押しすることを目的にしています。優れた発表については、ASME実行委員会および日本微生物生態学会キャリアパス・ダイバーシティ推進委員会より表彰を行います。 なお、口頭発表枠には限りがあるため、応募者多数の場合には要旨の内容に基づいて審査され選抜を行う事があります。口頭発表に選抜されなかった応募者については、そのままの内容でポスター発表を行うことができます。/
The Young Scientist Session is organized for students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists who wish to present their research in an international conference setting and engage in discussions with researchers from diverse backgrounds. The session aims to foster scientific exchange among young researchers from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and other regions, while promoting the development of future leaders in microbial ecology. Outstanding presentations will receive awards from the ASME Organizing Committee and the JSME Committee for Career Development and Diversity Promotion.
Because the number of oral presentation slots is limited, abstracts submitted to this session will be reviewed, and oral presenters may be selected based on the quality and relevance of their abstracts. Applicants who are not selected for an oral presentation will automatically be assigned to the poster session.
ポスター賞/Poster Awards
演題・要旨を英語で登録し、ポスターを英語で作成した発表を対象として、以下の3部門で優秀発表を表彰します。（口頭言語は日本語でも可）/
Outstanding Presentation Awards will be presented in the following three categories to presentations for which both the abstract and poster are prepared in English. Oral presentations may be delivered in Japanese.
- 学部・修士（博士前期）課程学生/Undergraduate and Master’s Students
- 博士（博士後期）課程学生/Doctoral Students
- ポスドク/Postdoctoral Researchers
※表彰式は9月28日（月）の18:15から実施予定です。/The Award Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 28, from 6:15 PM.
